UPDATED:

A memorial roll call took place April 21, 2025, at the Gold Star Families Memorial and Park to honor the life of Chicago police Officer Luis Huesca, on the first anniversary of his death. Huesca, a six-year veteran of CPD, was shot multiple times in Gage Park while off-duty but in uniform early on April 21, 2024.
