Elizabeth Shackelford

Elizabeth Shackelford is senior policy director at Dartmouth College’s Dickey Center for International Understanding and a foreign affairs columnist for the Chicago Tribune. She previously served as a senior fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and was a career diplomat with the U.S. Department of State. She is the author of "The Dissent Channel: American Diplomacy in a Dishonest Age," winner of the Douglas Dillon Book Award. She has appeared alongside Jon Stewart, Christiane Amanpour and numerous others.
